剛柔会 Mr. Akira Shiomi Hanshi March 25th 1934 -
Born in Japan, Akira Shiomi Hanshi is the Chief Technical Director of the JKF Gojukai. Holding such position places him on the board of Directors of both the Japan Karatedo Federation [JKF] and the World Karatedo Federation [WKF]. 1934 March 25 - Mr. Shiomi was born.
1952 -Began training Karatedo at Ritsumeikan University.
1956 - Graduates from Ritsumeikan University.
Founder and Chief instructor of Shudokan.
1986 - Acquired the Grade of 8th Dan; JKF Gojukai.
1986 - Acquired the Shihan license of Hanshi.
1987 to 1997 - Served as JKF Central Technical Committee Member.
1990 - Acquired the Grade of 8th Dan; Japan Karatedo Federation JKF.
1995 to 2003 - 1st Examiner JKF Testing Panel.
1996 - Became a board member of the JKF and is currently a JKF 1st Grade examiner and is the special Kata coach of the Japanese national team.
Holds a position of Vice Chairman of the JKF Gojukai.
Holds a position of Vice Chairman of Board of Directors of JKF Gojukai and is a head of the Kata instructing committee of JKF Gojukai.
He was invited as an instructor for WKF (WUKO) Masters Seminar.
Shiomi Hanshi has been the coach to WKF Women Kata champion Ms. Atsuko Wakai Sensei as well as the former WKF Men’s Kata champions Mr. Koyama and Mr. Ryoki Abe.
To date Mr. Akira Shiomi Hanshi has attended as Kata instructor seminars held in England, USA, Brazil and throughout South America, Austria, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Thailand, Hungary, Kuwait, Egypt, Slovakia, etc. |
